COVID-19 SUPPORT HELPLINE
Over the past 12 months, Leominster Town Council has worked with the Leominster COVID-19 SOS volunteering group and staff from HVOSS Community Wheels to provide an emergency helpline for those requiring support during the COVID-19 pandemic. Phone lines have been open from 8am-6pm on weekdays and 3pm-6pm on weekends and public holidays. As the vaccination programme progresses and our county moves out of lockdown with the restrictions gradually being lifted, the number of support requests that we receive through the helpline is expected to decrease. We have therefore decided to reduce the operating hours for our helpline. Leominster Town Council are still here to provide advice, support and volunteer referrals for those residents who are still self-isolating or in need of extra assistance, however we can now be contacted 9am – 3pm on weekdays, using the following number:
01568 611 734
(9am – 3pm, Mon – Fri)
If you call outside of these hours, or when our staff are dealing with another call, please leave your details on our answer machine service and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Leominster Town Council will continue to monitor the situation to ensure that the helpline continues to support residents’ needs. We remain very grateful to all the volunteers and community groups who continue to support our town through these challenging times.
