As a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant, we are advertising this vacancy on behalf of Herefordshire Council.

Herefordshire Council, in conjunction with the Veteran Support Centre Charity, are seeking to recruit a versatile and experienced manager to take forward the Veteran Support Centre in Hereford City. This post is currently offered until 31st March 2023 to match grant funding that has been secured for this post.

The Centre, which secured charitable status in December 2020, is currently closed due to current Covid19 national guidance so the current postholder has been operating on an outreach basis. When open, the Centre is manned 3 days during the week but may have the possibility of some weekend work.

The Centre is a one stop shop for advice and guidance, working with organisations already signed up and committed to work from the centre and who currently form the management group.
