Markets and Events

Leominster Market takes place every Friday in Corn Square.

A wide range of stalls are available each week, including fruit and veg, fresh fish, flowers and plants, bread, cheese, meat and pies, clothing, pet supplies and homewares.

A Farmers Market takes place on the 2nd Saturday of the month in Corn Square between 9am and 1pm. Regular stall holders include meat, fruit, preserves, chocolate, plants and more.

In Herefordshire, a wide variety of produce is available, including fresh fruit and vegetables, fruit juices, wine, bread and cakes, eggs, meat, cheeses, plants and the list goes on!

Herefordshire Farmers’ Markets Group (HFMG) was set up in September 2003 by a democratic co-operative of local farmers in partnership with Herefordshire Council.

Farmers’ markets work two ways: local producers can sell their own produce directly to the consumer on a regular basis, and consumers have the assurance that the produce they buy is not only locally produced, but also meets the very highest standards required by the HFMG and FARMA.

Established in 2015 and led by Leominster Tourist Information Centre, The Leominster Food Fayre is an annual event taking place in Corn Square and the Leominster Town Council building on the 1st Saturday in September.

Featuring a wide range of food, drink and craft producers from the North Herefordshire area and beyond, this popular events also feature children’s activities and food and drink demonstrations.

This festive Victorian themed Christmas market is usually held annually, on the 2nd Saturday of December, but this year due to the refurbishment of the town centre as part of the High Street Heritage Action Zone programme, alternative events are being planned.
